Why the edge is the whole shot

A cliff jump is one movement with a clear shape: a pause at the lip, a long arc through the air, then the entry. That shape suits a short AI clip well. The render has one job, which is to make the arc feel slow and the body feel light.

Your photo needs to show the edge, with sky above and water below. A photo from a boat or the far bank makes the drop look shallow. Keep the horizon level and the water calm enough to read as a landing spot.

Water depth and clarity visible. A dark, shallow surface looks wrong in slow motion.
A level horizon and a clearly visible edge, so the drop reads as real height.
Only the person jumping, plus adults who agreed, in frame.
Calm water below for a clean splash. Foam and rapids confuse the entry.
One jump per clip. Two jumps in one render blur together.
