Mistakes that make the roof look flat
High photos fail in their own ways. Before you render, check:
- The skyline reads clearly. A grey, empty sky makes the rooftop look like a garage.
- The water edge is level in the photo. A tilted ledge makes the drop look wrong.
- The wind has a direction you can describe. Hair already lifting tells the model where to go.
- Railings and barriers are kept simple. Busy metalwork confuses the camera move.
- No strangers on the roof unless they are adults who agreed, and no faces in the windows.
