Why sunrise is the easiest beach light to get right
Sunrise gives you the softest light on the coast. The sun sits low, the sand is still cool and damp, and every wave holds a thin line of gold. Skin looks luminous rather than oily, hair catches a backlight without burning out, and the sea stays calm enough for a steady camera.
