Why the desert suits a slow, hot clip
Desert light is hard and bright, which makes midday pool footage look washed out. Let the heat do the work instead: haze that bends the palm fronds, sand that bounces warm light onto the tiles, a sky that turns amber in the last hour before dusk.

Mistakes that wash out desert pool clips
The most common failure is overexposure. Bright sand and a white sky blank the highlights, and the skin goes flat with them. Ask for “soft shade under the palms” and say where the shadow falls so the face keeps its detail.
